The Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival returns to Estes Park, Colorado, September 10–12, 2027. The weekend brings together pipe bands, Celtic music, Highland dancing, athletics, clans, cultural demonstrations, and the Estes Park International Tattoo.

The announced Tattoo performances are:

  • Friday, September 10, 2027, at 7:00 pm
  • Saturday, September 11, 2027, at 5:30 pm

The production combines military and ceremonial music, massed pipes and drums, precision drill, dance, and cultural pageantry. Visit the official festival website for performance updates and tickets. Festival history

Dr. James Durward founded the Festival in the 1970s to celebrate Scottish and Irish culture and extend Estes Park’s visitor season beyond Labor Day. His daughter, Peggy Sue Young, assumed its leadership in 2020 after working alongside him for many years. The Festival celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2026.
